Current Projects:
Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.
They need hats, scarves and mittens in ALL sizes - from newborn to adult man. There is no date for when they need them but the sooner we get them to her the better. They service elementary through high schools and also early intervention and have many children in need.
Hats in all sizes. Please visit our Donation Guidelines page if you have any questions about how your hat should be made.
Pattern Ideas
6" squares. They can be knit, crochet or loomed and made with any yarn or material.
Drawstring Bags. These can also be knit, crochet, loomed or made with fabric. They should be large enough to hold a small bar of soap, small toothpaste, alcohol wipes, personal size shampoo, bandaids, neosporin, and a comb and brush. Approx. 6"x6" will work but if larger that will be fine as well.
Thank You
I would like to take a moment to thank Crochet Savvy Magazine for including us as their featured charity in the January issue. (Hint: We are on pages 66-69!). The magazine is a free publication so please take a moment to check it out. This month they feature The Crochet Crowd and men who crochet and there are lots of great crochet tips included.
