Ongoing Needs

This blog is live for historic purposes only. The wonderful people who supported me in this project deserve recognition and I refuse to delete it and all records of our hard work. Thank you all for your support. Please see my latest post for information regarding the future of this program.

Weekly Update - January 19, 2014

Beth D.

Joan in Bellingham
Current Projects:

We are currently collecting the following for My Mothers House in Taunton

Hats in all sizes. Please visit our Donation Guidelines page if you have any questions about how your hat should be made.

Pattern Ideas

6" squares. They can be knit, crochet or loomed and made with any yarn or material.

Drawstring Bags. These can also be knit, crochet, loomed or made with fabric. They should be large enough to hold a small bar of soap, small toothpaste, alcohol wipes, personal size shampoo, bandaids, neosporin, and a comb and brush. Approx. 6"x6" will work but if larger that will be fine as well.

Personal Thank You
I want to, again, say THANK YOU to Beth D for her help with this group. She is now collecting, photographing and distributing everything and that is a TON of work for her and a ton of work OFF me. I appreciate your help VERY much. If you get the opportunity to meet her, please let her know just how much her hard work is appreciated!

If your organization will need hats for the 2013/14 winter season please send an email to BethsHatsForHope@gmail.com. We are taking requests at this time and will do all we can to help.

If you are looking for a great project to be part of, please check the Needs/Wish List page and Current Projects page for more information or Contact Us.  You do NOT have to be part of the "group" to participate in this project.

Have a great week!
