New Project: Pine Street Inn

We are now collecting hats and mittens for the Pine Street Inn of Boston, MA. They have specifically requested hats and mittens. This is an ongoing project and as the bin I have specified for them gets filled I'll update the totals and send it out to them. The serve men and women 18 and older.

**I will start providing these totals next weekend after I re-inventory the Coats For Kids bins.

Scarves
Mittens
Slippers
Blankets
Total

**Please be sure to tie mittens and slippers together before sending them in to save me time. Thank you!

I am looking for shelters that service men, women, and children in the Worcester area as well as additional shelters in the Boston area that service women and children that are in need of winter hats and scarves. If you know of any please send an email to BethsHatsForHope@Gmail.com with as much information as you have available.

Believe it or not, the cooler weather is going to be here in just a couple months. Hats, scarves, mittens and slippers all make great portable summer projects. THIS POST has a lot of great project ideas to help you get started. You will need to create a free account on www.Ravelry.com if you don't already have one but all the patterns in the queued searches are (or should be) free.

If your organization will need hats for the 2013/14 winter season please send an email to BethsHatsForHope@gmail.com. We are taking requests at this time and will do all we can to help.

If you are looking for a great project to be part of, please check the Needs/Wish List page and Current Projects page for more information or Contact Us.

Have a great week!
